The BBC has just launched The Green Planet, a super series of 5 episodes, presented by the legendary Sir David Attenborough, about the world of plants.

João Paulo worked as director of photography on episode 2, Water World, about the fantastic world of aquatic plants. For the episode, João recorded, under the direction of Peter Bassett, striking sequences such as the water lily, in the Pantanal, and the bubbling river with crystal clear waters, in the Amazon, alongside cameraman Edson Faria Junior and local producer Roberta Bonaldo.
