João Paulo won two awards at Memorial María Luisa photo contest 2017, in Spain. The contest received more than 16000 images from 81 countries. The image “Jellyfishes from Palau” received a Honorable Mention in the category “Underwater world” and the “Fisherman with whale-shark, from Indonesia” received a Honorable Mention in the category “Man in Mountain-Nature”.
